Solution: Complete freedom of information to the world
5. Hunger
Roughly 795 million people are malnourished in the world
1 in 9 people go to bed hungry at night
Solution: Organize food and stop capitalism of profits and fair distribution of food to everyone
6. Terrorism
Between 2006-2013 more than 130,000 people were killed by terrorism
Solution: Make peace not war. Stop violence
7. Economy and the World's Wealth
64 people have the same net worth as half the world's population
There is an increasing gap between the super wealthy and poor
Solution: Tax the super wealthy, and use their money on global outreach programs
8. Education system
Education is the future
Education and innovation is the key to human survival
Solution: Build more schools, Pay teachers more money, make their jobs more desirable
9. Poverty
700 million people are considered to be living in poverty
Poverty is considered living on less than $1.90 a day
1/3 of all the poor are children between ages 0-12
Solution: Distribute government wealth, Set up outreach programs for jobs
10. Ignorance
Ignorance that there are no problems in the world, and if there are other people will fix them
People say they want to help but they don't end up helping
Solution: Educate people on the truth
These are very good issues to focus on, though there are some pretty broad solutions. For example, I agree we need wealth and material redistribution, but, at least in America, that can't come from the government when the top 1% owns most of the wealth. We need to redistribute that money or create a new economic system that wouldn't let things get that uneven in the first place.

ReplyDeleteI totally agree on the issue that the world doesn't know there is a problem. There's about 7billion people in the world, and a great amount with no education, ignorant people, with no conscience about major problems around the world. This fact makes the educational issue grow bigger every day. Nice to be able to share your thoughts.
